Here's another brothy rice dish to add to your weekday rotation. It's aromatic, comforting and completely customisable if you'd prefer to serve it over noodles instead of rice.

In case you haven't heard of this, it's a viral instant noodle dish sold in Jeh O, a restaurant in Thailand that has people queuing for ages for this luxurious bowl of noodles. Since I'm not able to try the real deal for myself, I thought why not make it myself. It's full of so much flavourful, aromatic and has just enough of a kick to keep you going back in for more! I've used Nongshim Shin Ramyun's Tom Yum flavour here however to make the dish even more authentic I recommend using the creamy version of Mama Noodles Tom Yum.

When I need something quick yet delicious, this udon noodle soup or Kake Udon is a dish I'll turn to. While the broth may look simple, don't let that fool you, it's subtle yet umami rich broth is one that will comfort anyone.

Panang curry has always been a favourite of mine and with 'Brothy Rice' trending on socials, I thought why not combine the two. This warming bowl of brothy Panang rice and crispy chicken is full of flavour, spice and everything nice; don't come for me when you're going in for seconds.

Kimchi jjigae for me is one of pure comfort; just a spoonful of that flavourful broth is guaranteed to sooth the soul, throat and sinuses. This Korean dish is definitely best made with well-aged kimchi as it extra fermented which means it's going to add even more flavour to the broth

Also called See Yao Gai (豉油鸡) in Cantonese, this is a comforting braised chicken recipe that's easy and super flavourful. While it's usually the whole chicken that's braised in the delicious sauce, for this recipe I've used chicken leg quarters to make it easier, but feel free to use chicken thighs and drumsticks if that's easier to find. It's great served alongside a warm bowl of rice, or in this case, noodles!

Inspired by the ones from Din Tai Fung, these Shrimp & Chive wontons are actually much more easier to make that you'd think. And when you pair them with this addictive garlicky, spicy sauce; you're gonna wish you made extra wontons!

On days when I really can't be bothered to cook, I know I'll always end up whipping a bowl of instant noodles; and it hits everytime!

This is a popular dish to have at dim sum and for good reason! It's essentially an open topped dumpling made with egg wrappers that’s wrapped around a meat filling and usually topped with fish roe. They're plump, juicy and in my own opinion, quite addictive and thankfully they're not that difficult to recreate at home!
